The Harley Chocolate Hard Wax contains Titanium Dioxide. Titanium Dioxide depilatory waxes are a new generation of professional waxes that meet even the most demanding application requirements. Titanium Dioxide lends the depilatory wax a softness that makes it easy to apply and suitable for even the most sensitive areas and skin types.
Titanium Dioxide significantly reduces wax adhesion to the skin, ensuring a soft, gentle pull-off strip. Titanium Dioxide waxes are recommended for use in the summer and for all cases where the skin is prone to sunburn, dehydration, dryness, and is particularly sensitive.
Using only the finest ingredients and essential oils, it has a low melt temperature that ensures client comfort and total satisfaction.

How to decide which Hard Wax to use in your practice
- If you have a client with highly sensitive skin, sun-exposed/dehydrated skin, or very fine hair → lean toward the Titanium Dioxide variants (Chocolate or Rose).
- If you want to offer a more luxurious sensory experience (pearl finish, aromatherapy element) and the skin is less reactive → the Micromica
variants (Lavender, Aloe, Summer Fruits) work beautifully. - Also keep in mind scent preference and branding of the salon (wellness vs bold vs scented).

- Break into smaller pieces. This can be done with a hammer or simply by dropping the wax onto a hard surface. Place the wax into a wax heater at a medium heat setting. Stir the wax and slowly increase the heat until you achieve a soft consistency. Do not overheat.
- Test the wax on the inside of your wrist to ensure it is at a comfortable temperature. Meanwhile, prepare skin with Harley Pre-Wax Oil. Using a spatula, apply wax evenly first in the opposite direction of hair growth, and then, with the direction of hair growth, make a stroke past the start point to create a tab.
- Once the wax has cooled and become slightly firm (not hard or brittle), flick up the tab. Gripping the tab with one hand and firmly holding the skin with the other, remove the wax in the opposite direction of the hair growth in one quick motion. Immediately apply firm pressure with your hand to soothe and reduce redness

Post waxing tips :: After a waxing treatment it is advisable to stay out of the sun for at least 48 hours. If this cannot be avoided then a good sun block needs to be applied
• Wear loose fitting clothes after a wax treatment to reduce skin irritation and to reduce the formation of any ingrown hairs
• Massage the skin with Harley After Wax Oil to reduce redness, soothe the skin and reduce the formation of any ingrown hairs.

What is the difference between Harley Hot (Hard) Wax and Strip (Soft) Wax?
Strip Wax is designed for use on larger areas, utilizing a paper strip that adheres to the wax before being removed from the skin. Our Strip Waxes not only allow for a quicker, more cost-effective waxing treatment, but they also remove hair as short as 1mm directly from the hair follicle – reducing the chance of ingrown hairs and irregular hair regrowth.
We have designed our Hot Wax for use on smaller, more sensitive areas. With the application of Harley Pre-Waxing Oil and the correct application of the wax, any discomfort to the client can be reduced. Hot Wax does not require the use of paper strips; instead, the wax hardens, allowing it to be removed directly from the skin.
Where can I use Harley Film Wax?
You can use Film Wax on all areas of the skin, including the larger and smaller, more intimate areas. When applied correctly, the wax can be spread extremely thinly, making it a very cost-effective option for clients who prefer not to use Strip Wax.
Which Harley Wax do you recommend for sensitive skin?
All our Harley Waxes are designed for use on sensitive skin, as our products are made with some of the highest-quality natural raw ingredients.
We do, however, advise that our waxes containing Titanium Dioxide are perfect for extra sensitive skin. Titanium Dioxide allows for a more delicate removal process. It reduces irritation and redness while promoting skin hydration.
